The expert course is aimed at Healthcare Professionals who are already proficient in urodynamic studies. The focus will be on diagnostic evaluation of difficult cases. The complete course takes one and a half days, although it is possible to attend for just one day.
The first day will cover recurrent incontinence after stress urinary incontinence surgery, urodynamic evaluation with prolapse, female retention, mixed urinary and faecal incontinence and incontinence after prostatectomy. The second day focuses on neurology, and pathophysiology. The course should finish soon after 3:00 pm.
This course will be an intensive exploration which will be invaluable to those likely to tackle more challenging cases. The course is limited to 20 people.
This will be a highly interactive course and an opportunity for you to discuss some of the most challenging aspects of Urodynamics and how it fits into clinical management.
We are expecting you to bring your own cases for you to present (5 mins max), and this ideally will be in the form of PowerPoint slides. You will need at least two cases, one of which ideally will be a neurological patient. Please forward them us on a memory stick, so we can decide which ones to use (if there are too many, we will select cases with specific points of interest).
