A 72-year-old man was referred to the Urology outpatient clinic with a two month history of a lump in his left testicle. He originally presented to his GP complaining of a tender swelling in his left testicle. He was treated with oral antibiotics and the tenderness settled. However, he was left with the lump. There were no associated symptoms. Clinical examination confirmed the presence of a cystic lesion at the upper pole of the left testicle. An ultrasound scan of the testicle is shown below: |
